Accessibility statement for wandrz.eu
Wandrz B.V. wants everyone to be able to use wandrz.eu. We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA.
Status: C — first measures taken. The website has not yet been fully assessed.
Known limitations
- Some of the photos do not have a description (alt text) yet. We will add these as part of the site's redesign.
- The appointment scheduler on the demo and consultation pages comes from Cal.com. We have not tested it ourselves; you can also email hello@wandrz.eu to make an appointment.
Contact. Running into a problem? Email hello@wandrz.eu. We respond within 5 working days.
Accessibility statement for the tour app
The museum wants everyone to be able to use the audio tour, including people with a disability. The tour runs on the platform of Wandrz B.V.
What does this statement cover? The tour at the address the museum uses for it: the list of stops, the stop pages with text and audio, the choice of language, entering a stop number or access code, and the feedback form.
Status: C — first measures taken. The tour is built to WCAG 2.2 level AA and meets AAA where possible. A full assessment by an independent party has not yet been carried out.
What has already been done
- On 3 October 2026, the tour was checked automatically and by hand in every screen orientation: contrast, focus, keyboard operation, zoom up to 200%, narrow screens down to 320 pixels, text spacing, motion and language attributes. All AA issues found have been fixed. The same check is run again after every change to the tour.
- Text has a contrast of at least 7:1 in the default colours; buttons and input fields are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Every stop can be both read and listened to. The player always has a pause button; audio only starts after a tap.
- There is no time limit, except for the end date of an access pass.
Known limitations
- The tour has not yet been tested with VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android). The accessibility tree has been checked.
- The museum chooses its own colours. These must have a contrast of at least 4.5:1 (AA); the platform refuses lower values. Level AAA can therefore not be guaranteed for every museum's own branding.
- Image descriptions (alt texts) are written by the museum itself. An image without a description can be published, with a warning.
- Audio is made with an AI voice or recorded by the museum. The full text is always shown with the audio, so the audio does not need separate captions.
Contact. Something not working for you? Let the museum know through the email address it gives in the tour, or through 'Something wrong with this stop?' on the stop page. You will get an answer within 5 working days.
Complaints. Not satisfied with the answer? If the museum is a public body, you can turn to the National Ombudsman (Nationale ombudsman) or your municipality's ombudsman.
